No dimorphism that I can see on the adults of either species. Helians are unbreedable with other Helians right now, I forgot to check with the Selenics.
Adult:
Description:
Helian crystalwings are a glorious sight to behold, with their bright head, blazing tail, and molten fiery wings. Adults have much better control of their abilities, and will no longer set things ablaze by accident, though they can and will light intensely hot fires when threatened or called upon to do so. They also still radiate an aura that emboldens anyone nearby, though adults seem capable of reining this aura in as well, such that it is merely a confidence booster, rather than an active enabler of bad judgment.
Adult:
Description:
The mysterious selenic crystalwings land only when they lay their eggs; otherwise, they spend their entire lives in the air. With three powerful pair of wings, the selenic crystalwings will remain airborne even when asleep. They never tire of flying, and they become more graceful in the air as they age. When they fly high - higher than the mountain tops - they become part of the night sky, shining like stars. As parents, they are exceedingly loving with their young, to the point of pampering the little hatchlings. They dedicate their entire time to raising their offspring, feeding, grooming, and teaching the young ones different flight techniques. The adults find new mates every so often, and they rarely care about the gender of their partners. As long as the moonlight shines over them, they feel content with the things they have.
Selenic Eclipse Crystalwing:
Egg:
A deep red gem that seems to eat the light is set into this dark egg.
While selenic and helian crystalwings exist in harmony and are often kept together to keep their powers balanced, breedings between the two are relatively uncommon, and for good reason. Perhaps due to the complimentary nature of their powers, their offspring tend to be uncanny in nature, their powers defined by absence. These eclipse crystalwings literally eat light, yet also exude it, existing always half in light and half in shadow, never quite part of either world. Selenic eclipse crystalwings in particular can erase things from existence for a time, and are both feared and respected as a result.
Look!!!!
![Wooo! :woo:](./images/smilies/rennen.gif)
I got one by breeding a female Selenic and a male Helian, though I'm unsure if that matters or if a counterpart even exists... yet.
