Despite me currently finding it hard as hell to learn Europe Universalis 4... I've been enjoying lots of I guess youtube memes of it? pretty funny stuff. Had to take a break from the eternal deadlock that is my war of Imperial Austria against Communist France and England... I managed to wipe out the southern Italian Communists but jfc I have an entire front with France that is a stalemate reaching from the Northern coast of the Netherlands which is also a filthy commie, all the way to the German and Swiss border, attempting naval invasions from Italy into southern france and using my massive air superiority to try and paradrop men on top of Paris... So far the massive Anglo-Frank blob is holding my attempts off well...

Pfft. How exactly does EU4 work, anyhow? I always thought it was a weird Civ spin-off tbh.

uh... that's a good question its I guess a medieval historical sim? its like any other 4x game just it has a super sharp learning curve, Hearts of Iron is the same way took my collectively like 3 days of constant beating my head against the wall that is that game to finally understand how to play it and not die an hour or two into a game...

I still dont understand how MC was so hard for you , but yeah normally strategy games are easy for me that I have em down within the first few hours if not the first. Paradox though, I'll hand it to em they make some challenging games HoI4, EU4, Stellaris are all pretty challenging games although Stellaris is the easiest out of those three.

Well I started a server with boobery doober back like... Last April. So many rookie mistakes.
It was just difficult because I was always coming up with the most inconvenient building plans ever, and then going into mining expeditions underprepared, etc etc.

meh I'd get to the point I'd often spend hours at a time clearing entire chunks, used to have a server ran off of my sisters old pc for a few friends and I... Was gonna try and make it into something cool but like most things I plan it all kinda just falls apart.
