This might sound really stupid but...who's Mr. Darcy? :derp:

The star of Pride and Prejudice, who is typically thought of as Colin Firth, due to his portrayal of him in the 1995 BBC six part special.

I just went through my EVERY PM I had, inbox, outbox, and sent messages, and mass-deleted anything and everything that wasn't important. Starting fresh. :D

Ah, okay. That explains why I don't know him then. I never read or watched Pride & Prejudice.

Thank you ladies, but as Tinni said I'm old but not that old so no good stories, sorry Crone.
I had a great family time and now I'm off to eat barbecue with friends.

Reading that(the 'reviews') reminded me of something from one of my English Classes. Well, my Creative Writing one. We had to read a book then our group(since we had about 3-4 people per book) would do a presentation on it. And one group got Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. And they kept saying it was hard to read and the style of writing was awkward.
No, no the book I read was like that. I read Frankenstein on my own later, and it was not hard at all. And yeah there might have been a slightly older style of writing to it but that's to be expected when the book is, almost 2 centuries old!

I'm fond of The Scarlet Letter and To Kill a Mockingbird myself. :t-:3:

Ohh, I read To Kill a Mockingbird in English class once. I actually enjoyed it.
Ray Bradbury also has some good books as well.

Can't forget The Once and Future King.
Also The Faery Queen made me giggle. It's so disjointed.

Frankenstein for me. One of my favourites. And then Macbeth and Othello if those count.
