Hm, I can understand flies but what's up with the seemingly universal fear of bees? I honestly love bees... Oh, and they used to get so full of pollen they'd come waddle around on my porch until they got better

Same reason I am borderline phobic of needles, and part of the reason I used to be an arachnophobe-I suspect it has to do with getting stabbed by something sharp, pointy and painful. And with honey bees, there's alot of them.Ye1 wrote:Hm, I can understand flies but what's up with the seemingly universal fear of bees? I honestly love bees... I like bees, I just hate it when they come buzzing at me and try attacking me... But truthfully they're just curious.

I don't understand the flies part, actually. Most flies are harmless. If somewhat gross.

@cass- flies are all over my house in the summer, and they're actually one of the cleanest animals i think, they're just really misunderstood I suppose.

Re: Bug-Lover's Club - Current Mascot: Rainbow Grasshopper!
That happens to me too, ye. I get doezens of flies in my house during the summer... Since I always see them courting outside my house, it's when they breed and come to warmer places.
That's the only thing I don't like about them... Other than maggots.
