Doubleagles are agile hunters, often seen roosting in tall trees or gliding over open meadows with all four eyes bright and alert. Their second set of wings are used mainly to turn or to buffet prey, as they are too close to truly add lift. While Doubleagles are very intelligent, they cannot speak or mimic voices, and communicate in coos and chirps. A young Magi with a happy, cooing Doubleagle is a very skilled trainer.
Doubleagles are often found in deserts and tropical forests, and have very different coloring depending on their location.
