Oh, yes, see, Mr. Noodles is bad at updating rules. But for hybrids, they just have to be 1st gen. AKA Gryphon X Ice Phoenix breeding, NOT Ice Gryphon X Ice Gryphon breeding.

hummmmm.. so am I screwing up or not? I've been breeding my de Prometheos fire gryphons, with other unrelated 1st gen fire gryphons.. as in..

1st gen de Prometheos x 1st gen fire gryph
2nd gen " x 1st gen fire gryph
3rd gen " x 1st gen fire gryph
etc.

Did I misunderstand the rules?

By the way, breeding with 1st gen ice gryphs would be cool, I would like it if you did that.

That's why I was asking about the Ice Gryphs.. I'm breeding for quantity AND linear gens, so I thought I might pair the Betas, Gammas, etc. with regular Gryphons, Phoenixes, Ice Phoenixes and Ice Gryphons.. then I could keep the rest of my unrelated Fire Gryphons for the Alpha line only.

No, no, no, Cinna, you're RIGHT. I said 1st gens as in Reg. Gryph X Phoenix crosses, which is what you did. Just not Fire Gryph X Fire Gryph crosses, and using the products to breed into the lineage. I call those 2nd gens. Ack, so confusing.

PS: Do you wanna just open it up to all Streamborns, Shopborns, and 1st gens for EVERYTHING (like, for Streamborns too)?

Ah, but there are a very few SB Fire Gryphons out there. For example, this is a SB Fire Gryphon. So... you could have a 1st gen Fire Gryphon with SB Fire Gryphons for parents. Just thought I'd point that little info out to you.

In fact, Imperialism has SB Fire Gryphons and SB Ice Gryphons so I'm sure folks who had ordered at her shop got 1st Gen Fire Gryphons with SB Fire Gryphon parents or 1st Gen Ice Gryphons with SB Ice Gryphon parents.

Now you want to breed creature X with creature Z de Prometheus. Creature Z is of no relation to creature X, so it's not inbreeding. Is that allowed? The offspring of XZ would just be both cousins and half siblings of the offspring of XY...
