Yep, I make a shading template for them, so I can just recolor them. I only recently learned how to do it. Like, only about last week, lol. Do you have photoshop? Make a layer on top of the base-color, a clipping mask, and make it Multiply mode. Use bucket fill to fill it with a gray color, darker gray. And then erase where the highlights should be. Repeat as necessary to have different layers of shading, and maybe add a highlights layer. EDIT: Ya...I don't get it xD I'm not too good at this kinda stuff. I filled it with the bucket tool, but I can only see where the gray is one the really tiny navigation screen, nothing is showing up on the real picture

That must be because you don't have the layer set to multiply. And be sure it is a clipping mask.
