now, i personally love bugs. i think they're super cool, and i even have a few as pets!

however, i have an intense fear of crickets and grasshoppers- i will run screaming and crying from them. spiders? not an issue; i even used to have a smaller tarantula species. moths? we're all cool, i've hatched some beautiful specimens before!

but crickets? absolutely not.

My strangest phobia is my fear of choking. Because sometimes, I have a hard time drinking or eating due to the fear of choking on whatever I am trying to enjoy. It stinks. It may be because I almost drowned once,

I'm usually pretty hardheaded but for some reason I cannot handle dentist visits. The thought of random people doing weird stuff inside my mouth while I cannot react or see properly just terrifies me.

Ticks can be dangerous carrying disease anyhow, and they are legit creepy so I understand this.

My biggest fear is probably of water in a few different ways;
1. Fast moving like rapids where it's extremely dangerous and choppy, with a risk of throwing you against rocks, and/or capsizing whatever boat/floating device you have.
2. Murky water that I can't see through, hides things you most likely don't want to come into contact with - both living and otherwise (like metal pipes or glass).
3. Flooding
4. Large bodies of open water (Lakes/Ocean)

I wonder if it's a common fear though as water can become dangerous pretty quickly, but on the other hand I love to swim and did a lot as a child - but of course in clean safe pools, not open water.

I have so many phobias, but the worst one is probably fear of the night. I know why I am afraid of it and that makes it worse.

Phonophobia, the fear of loud noises. I hate it when someone screams, or hits something hard enough to make a noise. I hate it when people yell at me, as most do, but I just hate the volume of it. In general, I'm easily startled.I don't think I'd be a good witness, to a murder or something, because I'd just remember the sound.

For me it's ghosts. Not just in general (because I'm perfectly fine with those from Casper and those like him or cartoonish) but the ones that like do the whole body horror thing by making themselves stretch into unnatural and impossible ways... like, if they do a literal jaw drop to show a huge maw or something to that effect... those kinds of ghosts give me the willies.

I was always a sensitive person to blood, I could feel the wound when someone described it or showed it to me, but 2 years ago I had a personal experience with a wound, it bleed a lot, and since then I have hemophobia. It's tiring because I can't listen to people talk about wounds or blood without feeling like fainting, it has happened twice by now and it's very uncomfortable u_u

I don't think there's a fancy name for this weird fear, and I know full well it's irrational but...

Tamagotchi pets/virtual pets, PARTICULARLY after nightfall. Once I had one, and I doted on it so much that I kept it at my bedside so I could care for it first thing after I awoke, but it evolved at around 2am and made quite a fuss, chirping.

Ever since then, I can dote on a virtual pet all day, but come nightfall, I'm so stressed I can barely sleep, and they whether on physical devices or on my phone MUST stay in the hallway. It's a damn shame because the new, color-screen ones are so cute but I can't justify buying one with how scared I am!
