They usually are sold by how much shards they are, and one shard can range around 40-55K gold,
The older a creature gets, the more valuable it is... so it depends on how old the creature is, and if it's bred or not.
A kirin or valcerian dragon that has parents will sell for less than one that doesn't. Also, it will be less expensive depending on whether it's an April fool's release or not. So basically, even though I don't know the exact price they'd go for, a parentless chestnut kirin born in 2009 would probably sell well into the millions...
An April fool's one wouldn't sell for nearly that much. I think I've seen them go for about 100k or somewhere around there??
