Oh yeah, I have a couple of tips. To make the outside lines look more natural (the black lines) you should make them a darker shade of the pelt color, like you did with Kazan. You should keep the mouth line and the eye line black but definitely try making the outside line (like the black body outline) a darker shade of the pelt.
And when you get a better program (unless you want to try it now) I'd suggest attaching the leg to the body, such as erasing part of the leg line so it looks like the body flow naturally into the leg. Right now, the leg looks kind of glued on.
In fact, do you have a base I could try this method on? I use Adobe Photoshop, I don't normal use pixels.I've used MS Paint once before, but to tell you the truth, my art sucked. You're pretty good with the pixels.
