Thread necro, but... same re: 'they might be'. I look at that seal at the edge of the ice hole going 'bleph! Egegeh!' and just go 'same, my (gender-neutral) dude' because that is a big mood.
As for favorite? Nessie and other 'lake monsters' that I'm pretty sure are actually water spirits having a laugh.
