relieved that the 4th is over, all the local thugs were setting off fireworks, which scared Cat Ballou! She'd jump off the bed to find a more comforting spot ~ like the laundry basket! Glad your visit w/ your daughter went well

Some of our cats hide at the fireworks (like in our couch!). They're okay for a few minutes though.... The fireworks, that is. The cats wander out after an hour or so.
Yep, they're leaving the camps site probably this evening, and heading back across the state then

I remember when you were house-hunting to move to where you are now. Has it been that long ago? Out here our heat wave (well into the 80s) is finally declining, thankfully!
