Watership Down by Richard Adams. This books is a beautiful story full of joy and sorrow that is also beautifully written. I have read it at least a dozen times and I am still enraptured by the storytelling.

If I ruled my own island, I would just lay in a comfy chair and read all day. I would get my own food, but other people would be in charge of keeping my fridge well stocked.

I think that breeding programs for endangered species are helpful because they keep an animal alive that would otherwise be dead. This allows us to study them and learn more about why there died out in the wild. However, I think that zoos should have more regulations regarding the health of the anim...
