Bred by the Ruala Tribe in Arabia. Somewhere in her early years, Rodania acquired the label - the celebrated mare. Her background told much of desert warfare and of the Bedouin value of choice mares. 4-26-1881 Imported from Arabia to United Kingdon by Lady Anne and Wilfrid Scawen Blunt, Sussex, England. Dam of five registered purebred registered Arabian foals. Founder of Polish Female family and English Female family. One of the most influential mares in Arabian breeding history. Owners 1869/1879 Sotamn Ibn Shaalan, a Ruala - Arabia; 1879 Stolen by Beneyeh Ibn Shaalan, a Ruala - Arabia (cousin of Sotamn); 1880 Taken in war by Tais Ibn Sharban, a Gomussa - Arabia; 4-1881/1889 Lady Anne and Wilfriid Scawan Blunt, Sussex, England. Deceased 1889 at age 20.
