When a mage recieved his/her first egg, it was always special. But, one egg was lost among the reeds and bushes that lined the stream. The poor little phoenix egg was doomed to be stuck there for all etrnity, but one curious (and slightly idiotic) Mage decided to try and find the source of the stream. Said mage found poor little phoenix egg instead, and kept it as their first. As soon as it hatched, the Phoenix knew he was loved. He grew up, and found a wonderful mate. Their first child, Rising Fires, was lost in a catostrophic war that erased many creatures from existence. However, Fires left behind a Gemstone full of love.
And Flame decided to pass that love on.
