On a cool night in the Keep, a small child looked up at the sky and noticed a shooting star.
"Ma! Ma!" He said frantically, "Look! A shooting star!"
The mother looked up and shook her head.
"It doesn't mean anything."
Frowning, the little boy held back his tears as he followed his mother back to their home. When they were settling down for sleep, he turned to his side and whispered a silent wish. The next morning, the boy awoke to see a Winged Cat hatchling in his arms, and also to see that his wish had come true.
Little did he know that he saw a Wish Guardian that night, flying across the moonlit sky.
