Whenever a magi or a creature has a nightmare, an egg is laid. Their hatchlings can not find anything better than to fiddle with others dreams and to cause hallucinations. They are completely visible to Dark magis, but appears only as a dark shadow to regular magis and to other creatures. Many centuries ago, a magi was attacked by a furious male. He used magic to protect himself and the creature mysteriously vanished. Hours later, he woke up after having a strange dream. As he went outside the Keep, he found a white egg. It caused mild hallucinations, but it did not make him feel uncomfortable. He then understood that his magic purified the male creature. As the creature grew up to an adult, the magi went to teach other magis how to use magic to purify the more violent creatures.
