Syncopated Gaiter takes his name from an old song called Ragtime Cowboy Joe about a singing cowboy who rode a syncopated gaiter. Tail Gaiter's name is a pun based on the tail gate of a truck, etc. Their offspring will all have names that follow in the tradition of "Tail Gaiter"--think of words that end in "gator" or "gater."
