Once upon a time the Dragon, the Chimera and the Gryphon engaged in combat.
The Dragon used fire and his ability to fly. The Chimera looked in all directions at once with his many heads. What invincible enemies.
The Gryphon observed his foes. Having discovered their strengths and weaknesses, he attacked.
With wit and intelligence he lured the Dragon into the depths of the ocean where his fire was extinguished forever.
Attacking from below, the Gryphon removed the earth beneath the Chimera. Totally taking the Chimera by surprise the Gryphon could easily defeat the Chimera.
