The Fairfeathers are a lineage that dates back to the original Fairfeather Court, which was once called Nightjewel Tower. After Sister Kimrah Fairfeather took over Nightjewel Tower from her late lord husband, she drove out the Torveus dragons residing there and bred two of her closest companions. Airion and Purefyre had two children in their first clutch, Luhnet and Renlys. Since then, the family has grown into a line worth extending. Their family words are: "Mountains Never Fall."
All gryphons and hippogryphs are acceptable in this lineage, though fire gryphons are considered to be more valuable.
