The Mountain Guard family is one of the Outcast families. Descendants of the feuding Raptorclaws, these Gryphons made their own small families in an effort to make peace among the Alasre Gryphons. The Mountain Guards are rough with each other, but gentle overall. They are exceptionally large, even among Gryphons, and will see it as their duty to protect other creatures from unnecessary harm. The Mountain Guards are rumored to be the first Gryphons brought back to the Keep.
