Many legends speak of the connection between these Solar Hippogryphs and their closest companion, the sun. The Sol Alati are always born under the blazing light of midday, judged by the sun gods themselves; Only those worthy of the name and the royal blood of this line are allowed to hatch from the shells which are as hot as a scorching fireplace. The progenitors reside on a nest made of stones and gems, right on top of the stables reserved for the creatures which are rehomed by the Magus Faeryl. They both keep an eye on the creatures and customers alike and are not known to be exceptionally forgiving if anyone decides to mess with them.
