Since nothing is known of Godric Gryffindor's family, I made up the name of his wife myself. Since "Godric" is an Anglo-Saxon name, I chose a name of similar origin; "Elda" means "wise advisor", "wise protector", or "comrade in arms", which seemed a fitting name for a woman Godric would want to marry.
Please name your lineage creature(s) after members of the House of Gryffindor, or after Harry Potter characters who weren't in Hogwarts but would have belonged into Gryffindor in your opinion. You can also name a creature after your own name, if you want to be a Gryffindor yourself. :)
