Lost and Found (competition entry)

Ill be glad if this is even put a thought of being in the top 10...
In a jungle hidden and closed out from the world many creatures are breeding, Some many people thought where just myths, intill today...
They were first spotted by a forest with a small lake that seemed to glow, not just the water but the whole forest. Most everyone wasn't sure what they were going to see, some didn't come back...But the ones that did spoke of the un-seen. More and more tried to find out what was there but only a lucky few found the lake where the eggs and creatures hid. First you only have 1, then the next day, 2 then soon 4 but when they hatch you go back. Soon you have legendary creatures all to yourself and your collection keeps growing and growing intill one day you figure out,
